Home / About
Little Oak Cotons began with one simple belief — that a well-loved puppy, raised inside a real family home, grows into an extraordinary companion. Everything we do is built around that idea.
We fell for the Coton de Tulear the way most families do — one soft, cottony bundle of personality at a time. Their gentle nature, quick minds, and sheer devotion to their people won us over completely, and we knew we wanted to share that joy responsibly.
So we made a promise to keep things small and personal. Our puppies are never tucked away in a separate building. They grow up in the middle of everyday life — in the kitchen, by the couch, underfoot at dinnertime — gently handled by people of all ages from the moment they’re born.
By the time a Little Oak Coton is ready to join your family, they’ve already learned that the world is a kind, welcoming place. That confidence is the greatest gift we can give them — and you.
These aren’t slogans — they’re the quiet commitments that shape how each of our puppies is raised.
Sound breeding decisions, attentive vet care, and careful early-life monitoring come before anything else. A healthy start is non-negotiable.
We breed for the calm, affectionate, people-loving disposition the Coton is treasured for — and nurture it daily through gentle handling.
Children, visitors, household sounds, gentle play — our puppies experience the rhythm of a loving home long before they meet yours.
We will always tell you the truth about a puppy’s needs, timing, and personality — and we welcome every question along the way.
We thoughtfully match puppies to families based on lifestyle and temperament — because the best fit makes for the happiest life together.
Our relationship doesn’t end at pickup day. We are here for guidance, encouragement, and friendly check-ins for as long as you need us.
We believe the first weeks of a puppy’s life shape who they become. So we don’t rush a single moment.
We measure success not in volume, but in the happiness of the families and puppies we bring together.
